Typical application areas for Protea’s QMS system are:

• Biomass research, specifically low levels of H₂S as well CH₄, CO₂, N₂, H₂, O₂
• Hydrogen fuel cell research: H₂, O₂, He, N₂, Ar, CO₂, CO, NH₃, CH₄, C₂H₆
• Ethylene and ethylene oxide production
• Breath analysis
• Ambient air applications such as:
• Roadside monitoring
• Work place monitoring
• Boundary fence monitoring
• Gas blending and bulk gas analysis

The ProMass analyser can be installed in a fixed installation for continuous measurement, or can be supplied for portable applications. In a lightweight rugged case, the ProMass can be deployed anywhere allowing quick response to low ppb level gas measurements.
