Data Handling
The results from chemometric analysis of spectral data in Protea systems can be handled and stored in any number of useful ways.
Legacy analogue signals can be fed to plant, either 4-20mA or other protocols. However, Protea prefers to feedback results via Ethernet as OPC or ModbusTCP standards. Protea's OPC Server is fully DA v2.05 and v3 compliant and offers all analyser measurements, auxiliary values and alarm statuses for reading by the plant. Quality indicators on OPC tags give the status of chemometric analysis accuracy.
Data can be fed into a local database such as SQL, for thorough data reporting and historian access.
Protea can develop bespoke reporting packages for your particular application. This can be anything from simple Excel workbooks to fully coded standalone software packages. This can enable you to create final measurement reports that meet the exacting requirements of standard procedures.
