Portable Emissions Analysers P-AMS
Portable Automated Monitoring Systems, P-AMS or PEMS, such as Protea’s FTIR, NDIR and TDL analysers allow for a wide range of industrial pollutants to be measured periodically or as a back-up to existing CEM systems.
Protea is the most experienced company in the UK in using portable FTIR gas analyser to measure emissions. Through running a UKAS-accredited test house and being a manufacturer of gas analysers, we have been involved in FTIR as a supplier and end-user for 10 years.
Our model atmosFIRt and atmosIRt P-AMS analysers have been specifically designed to allow emissions test laboratories to make measurements of the organic and inorganic gases as simply and accurately as possible.
atmosFIRt
atmosFIRt is the latest generation of FTIR gas analyser technology from Protea in a portable or mobile form. The atmosFIR system improves upon previous FTIR technology and represents one of the most cost-effective and flexible analytical products on the market today. At the heart of atmosFIR is a high-resolution, robust and proven FTIR spectrometer offering high signal throughput, low-noise and long lifetime of components. atmosFIR has been developed to incorporate the latest improvements and advantages in technology.
atmosIRt Hot Wet Gas Analyser
AtmosIR is a portable hot, wet, multi-component analyser designed to monitor up to six gases simultaneously via the NDIR-GFC technique. AtmosIR features Protea’s proven photometer, taken from our MCERTS approved P2000 analyser, combined with our hot/wet gas cell technology as found in our FTIR gas analysers.
As a hot wet analyser, atmosIR can measure multiple components, including HCl and NH3, without the need for sample cooling. This removes the cost and complexity of extra sample conditioning equipment.
Solus Multipoint
The Solus Multipoint NH3 Ammonia gas analyser is ideal for ambient air and livestock monitoring applications of Ammonia (NH3). The Solus is a complete transportable ammonia measurement solution for up to 10 sample points. Ammonia is a primary measurement parameter under the Verification of Environmental Technologies for Agricultural Production (VERA) Test Protocol for Livestock Housing and Management Systems.
ProtIR 204M
The 204M is a transportable CEM based on FTIR technology. Using the 204M for measurements of waste incineration and combustion plant process is as simple using an FTIR can be. With pre-loaded calibration methods for 28 gas species, automatic nitrogen purging, in-built pressure and temperature alarms, analogue and digital I/O it is a complete site-ready back up CEM.
The ProtIR 204M and PAS software have been designed to allow stack emission monitoring to be carried out to the Environment Agency’s Technical Guidance Note M22 Measuring stack gas emissions using FTIR instruments (TGN M22) as simply and quickly as possible. With the built-in Standard Analysis Model for common gases there is no complex set-up of analysis required. The software as built-in calculations for drift and residual analysis, following the methods described in TGN M22.
