Sampling and Analysis of Impurities in Bulk Gas, Diving and Breathing Air
The Sampling System Control Module (SSCM) for Breathing Gas is a complete sampling and analysis unit and, when combined with our FTIR gas analyser, gives the ability to measure a wide range of impurities in bulk gas, compressed air, diving air and breathing air.
The SSCM-BG contains low-ppm range analysers for Oxygen and Moisture. Zero purge gas and calibration gas valves are provided. An internal pump allows for the vacuuming of the FTIR analyser gas cell for low-volume sample measurements.
Sample pressure and temperature sensors are included if the conditions of the sample need to be recorded.
An internal PLC monitors the system and inputs from the analysers. This PLC then connected to Protea’s FTIR software, PAS-Pro, when combined with the atmosFIR gas analyser. Samples can be recorded one-by-one, or as a batch. Software allows for user-inputs of sample parameters. Sample analysis reports in PDF or Excel formats can be then be produced.
