Job Title: Sales Administration
Reports to the Commercial Director.
Location: Peterborough.
Job Summary:
To provide assistance and administrative support to the management team and other members of staff on an on-going basis. Hours of Work: 8.30 – 5.00 with one hour lunch Monday to Friday (flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others
- Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect databases
- Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets and time scales
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries in conjunction with other members of the sales team
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Manage the movement of products in and out of the country in accordance with policy and procedures and to comply with relevant local country and international law and process
- Manage the necessary documentation and forms for the efficient cost effective and lawful execution of imports and exports
- Liaise with other departments to establish and maintain effective and relevant support in relation to materials management, production
Experience \ Qualifications:
- GCSE, A Level, Other vocational training
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an office environment
- Computer literate: Pegasus, Word, Excel, Outlook etc
Remuneration: £22K - 25K depending on experience
