atmosFIRa Long Pathlength Low Concentration FTIR Gas Analyser

Low concentration gas measurements require long pathlength with FTIR gas analysers. The atmosFIRa model FTIR uses the same proven interferometer as the standard 4.2m range product, but is provided with a long 20 metre pathlength cell. This increase in pathlength allows for parts per billion (ppb) level measurements.

atmosFIRa allows for user-swappable detector modules to be used to maximise the performance of the high pathlength system.

  • Liquid N2 cooled MCT. For ultimate performance. Cryogenic cooling allows wide Mid-IR range operation and speed of response

atmosFIR can be configured by Protea as a fixed operation, single application system with a known set of measured gases for applications such as breathing air. In this way, the software can automatically generate reports (.pdf or Excel) for compliance with relevant standards. Or, for the expert user, atmosFIR can offer all the benefits of FTIR, with hundreds of gas measurements, multiple analytical ranges, in-depth chemometric result diagnoses and integration with external sampling systems and auxiliary sensors.
