P2000 In-Situ CEM

Protea 2000 In-Situ Infra-red gas analyser connected to a Protea Control Unit forms the basis of a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS). The Stack Mounted In-Situ analyser monitors the stack gas without the need for any sample handling equipment making it a cost effective solution to Continuous Emission Monitoring and Process applications. The analyser monitors the stack gases “wet”, water vapour is continuously monitored enabling the pollutant gases can be reported on a wet or dry bases.

The Protea 2000 can monitor up to six gas species, including NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, NH3, HCl, CH4, CO, CO2 and H2O in many CEMs and process applications. The analyser probe is heated, ensuring components in contact with the stack gas are above the dew point, enabling the analyser to be installed on highly corrosive and demanding applications such as Nitric Acid and Sulphuric Acid plants. The In-Situ analyser has been installed in over 4000 installations worldwide. The analyser is compliant with international standards such as EN14181 and US EPA 40 cfr Part 60 & 75.

The Protea 2000 requires minimal maintenance or operator intervention, capable of fully automated zero and verification the analyser, utilising advanced diagnostics will continuously report health status. The extremely low maintenance requirements make the Protea 2000 an ideal instrument for remote sites and marine applications.

The Stack Mounted Protea 2000 can accept signals from adjacent instruments for example Oxygen, Particulates (Dust), velocity not only reducing installation costs but also enabling the system to report monitored concentration normalised to Oxygen or in mass units (kg/hr).
