Protea Spectrum Viewer Software Update

v2.1 of Protea Spectrum has been launched on the Microsoft Store. The latest version adds more useful features and functions to the spectroscopist or data analysis working with UV, FTIR and mass spectrum data.

Auto-baseline
Re-background from new zero background reference
Savitzky-Golay smoothing
First and Second Order differential
FFT with zero filling and
Interpolation
Division of spectra
X-axis conversion e.g. pixel count to nm
Normalisation

Spectrum Viewer is designed to work alongside our full PAS software for spectral analysis, but offers the user a lower cost solution for common spectroscopic functions. For both the laboratory spectroscopist and the environmental scientist, working with Protea atmosFIR range or other brand FTIR gas analysers, Spectrum Viewer can work with multiple file formats .spc, .spectrum (ABB), .spe (Gasmet), .dx J-CAMP, ASCII and TXT.
